WORK PLAN, WORK PACKAGES and TIMING

The project is structured in 9 different work packages, each led by one or two of the partners and providing the contribution of the other ones as listed below:

WP9: Quality assurance (UNKO and UMIL)

  • WP1 and WP2 includes all the preparatory phase and the management and coordination activities of the project, respectively, which are under the responsibility of UMIL.
  • WP3 concerns the survey on the educational situation in Albania and Bosnia Herzegovina in order to evaluate the presence of other post-graduate schools or similar curricula or modules in the University of the two countries and it is under the coordination of AUT and UNSA. UPORTO and UMIL are the leader beneficiary of the
  • WP4 which provides for the programming of the post-graduate school with theoretical (blended) and practical (face to face) activities, the summer schools and the teach the teachers activity. It will evaluate the possibility to programme also new curricula and / or new modules for existing curricula on the environmental health, veterinary public health and food safety.
  • WP5 take in account the capacity building and the production of the materials used by teachers for the lessons and of the English course and it is under the responsibility of UPORTO and UNKO.
  • WP6 under the coordination of AUT and UNIZE includes the renewal and strengthening of some structures of the partner Balkan universities such as the public health laboratories where the practical activities and the multimedia classrooms used for online lessons will take place.   • WP7 concerning the piloting and accreditation of the post-graduate school and other curricula and / or new modules to the educational Ministry of Albania and Bosnia Herzegovina.
  • The WP8 concerns the communication, dissemination and exploitation activities needed to maximise project impacts and will be coordinated by UNKO and UPORTO; impact assessment of the project, and will be aimed at determine the short-term effects of project implementation on the reference communities and collect information to ensure the sustainability of the results in the period following the end of the project activities.
  • Finally, WP9 includes the quality assurance that overseeing the quality of project implementation will assure, determine, negotiate and agree on quality procedures, standards and specifications that is under the responsibility of UNKO and UMIL
